Our Gemstone Estates Condo community is self-managed via our bylaws and a dedicated Volunteer Board of Owners. The Association has 113 Condo Owners located in the Northeast area of Marion/Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our Board's Mission is to improve our association's appeal while guiding our short and long-term planning. We do this by listening to our owners' feedback, handling maintenance issues, learning from other HOA benchmarks and managing finances, changes and plans with transparency.

On our Aeration Plan in the coming weeks, here is the response to questions and concerns:
1. We will text and email our condo owners the planned date a few days before the aeration and over-seeding service to front and side lawns.
2. As Condo Owners you will be responsible for any cuts or damage to sprinkler systems or in-ground dog fences that are not marked with flags, etc..
3. Lastly, we've contacted internet & cable providers on the lines buried.
• Their standards bury lines below six inches and our vendor will only be doing two inch plugs. If there are any cuts, it will be an owner responsibility to call out your provider to reestablish services.
• Given our vendor's experience and the number of outages the last time we did aeration - we feel the risk is low.
